ARTIST

He runs the illustration and design studio Chispum, and is the founder and a copywriter of the vinyl records brand Chispum. He has collaborated with Interviú (illustrating Juanjo Millás) and El País, among others. At present, he makes illustrations and graphic humour for El Semanal, Visual, La Maleta de Portbou, the digital newspaper Cuarto Poder, and El Estafador. He is an illustration and design teacher at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), IDEP, BAU and LCI.

CONCEPT

The Mediterranean Sea: a cemetery and a shame. It is the cemetery of the ideals of equality and integration of a Europe that looks away while thousands of people fleeing wars, abuse and injustice drown in it. Dead at sea for being poor.
